The idea is not to get you to part with as
much cash as possible, because that has given many a photographer a bad
reputation, but to give you a personally tailored photographic solution to
meet your needs and budget.
There are no "packages" to choose from where you end up having to pick the
basic one because that's all your budget will allow for, or one where you
get a proof album containing as many as 200 pictures but one where you
actually only get 20 in your album.
Surely the correct philosophy should be "The photographs taken on the day
are the ones you get in your album". That way you don't have to choose
which ones to leave out!Small weddings taken at
Ross Registry Office for example, range from around £250 - £400, typically
with 20 - 30 photographs at 6" x 9" in a wedding style album.
Medium size weddings for example at a local hotel, range
from around £350 - £600, typically with 40 - 70 photographs at 6" x 9"
again in a wedding style album.
Large full blown church weddings with the wedding
breakfast and evening disco all included in the album range from around
£500 and go as far as £2000. These typically have up to 100 photographs at
6" x 9" and tend to have the more costly options all rolled together.
All these prices are assuming your wedding is taking
place in the HR9 postcode area. Mileage costs have to be added to account
for travelling outside this area.
As you can see there is a wide range of possibilities
available, and these expand with the range, size and quantity of pictures
you want for your album, as well as the album itself.
I hope this gives you an idea of the scale of possible
prices that could be quoted depending on your needs. From the cheapest at
around £250 to the most extravagant at £2000 means that there is plenty of
scope to accommodate the needs of virtually every client.
